The "world's best ice-climber" comes from Austria. To be specific he was born in a 700-soul town called "Schwendt" in lower Tyrol. World-champion in ice-bouldering 2007, numerous first-ascents in rock and ice, scratching and topping the upper ends of the scales. The first Tyrolean that climbs 9a (Mongo). That's Markus Bendler!
